While
the beauty of human form gave designer Neil Sater his inspiration as
a sculptor, he realized something was missing. Movement. Through Wind Wonders™, a company devoted to kinetic art, the hypnotic motion
Neil wanted to capture is ever-present in his helix-like mobiles, twisting
and turning into themselves, consistently taking on new shapes, driven
by the wind.
Neil Sater is the genius behind Wind Wonders™. Inventor, sculptor
and kinetic artist, Neil lends his creative ingenuity to both the art
and technology of every sculpture that bears his name.
Neil’s Wind Wonders™ sculptures unite form and movement. He
first designed a line of small hanging wind sculptures - elegant single
forms and double forms that feature opposing motion, then went on to
develop oversized versions, labeling them the "Artist's Series."
These range in size from 36" to 5 feet tall, and larger.
Wind Wonders™ -- inspired by the effortless flow of a cool ocean
breeze -- accessible art that really moves.
