Will the sculptures maintain the shiny copper
finish? |
 |
|
Wind Wonders sculptures are made of 100% untreated
copper. Untreated copper will travel through different hues of oxidation.
Simply watch nature perform its own permanent patina. Mother Nature's
artistic touch will vary depending on your geographical location
and local climate conditions. |

How can I maintain the shiny copper finish? |
 |
|
Wind Wonders sculptures can be cleaned with a
reputable copper cleaner. If you want to protect it from the elements,
a clear spray lacquer can be applied. IT IS CRITICAL that the sculpture
be clean and dry when applying the lacquer. You MUST follow the
manufacturer’s recommendation for application and drying time
before putting your sculpture outside. You can also use car wax
on the sculptures. |

My wind sculpture is making a squeaky noise. What
can I do? |
 |
|
The swivel on your wind sculpture may need lubrication.
Use WD-40 or equivalent to oil the swivel. Make sure to oil both
swivels if the wind sculpture is a double. Then sit back and enjoy! |

There is too much movement back and forth, and
my sculpture is not spinning properly. What can I do? |
 |
|
If strong gusts of wind are frequent in your area,
it is best to hang your wind sculpture directly from the swivel.
Your sculpture will then spin beautifully and will not swing and
sway significantly. Use of the extension rods is best in areas which
are sheltered from strong winds. |
