Cleaning and Maintenance

Remember, copper goes through a natural aging process when exposed to the elements.

• To keep the copper looking new and shiny, you may wish to apply a clear gloss spray lacquer to lessen the natural aging process.
• Furniture polish will be useful for regular maintenance. Do not use copper or metal cleaners. Regular copper or metal cleaners can be abrasive may remove the distinct finish, possibly scratch the surface, or change the luster to a matte finish.
• We use the highest quality swivels in the construction of our sculptures. If your swivel begins to squeak, it simply needs to be lubricated. Spray the swivel with a lubricant such as WD40.
